Giri Shanker is a highly experienced audio engineer and forensic audio analyst with over two decades of expertise in the industry. Originally from Singapore and now based in Sydney, Australia. Giri graduated with an Honours degree in Recording Arts in 2001.

Throughout his career, he has honed his skills in various areas of audio engineering, including digital and analogue audio editing, mixing, and audio acoustics. Giri is also a recognised expert in audio restoration, forensics, and analysis, providing trusted advice on the authenticity and integrity of audio recordings since 2009.

In addition to his technical expertise, Giri is a dedicated audio engineering educator. He spent 16 years teaching diploma and degree programmes at SAE Institute , a prestigious media school in Singapore, until its operations ceased in the region.
